Yurina Okada’s works are created through a process of flattening photographs of women of her generation and flowers and plants using a transfer technique, and then pouring paint into the cracks that appear on the surface. While containing elements of both photography and painting, her work shows the potential for a new form of expression that is not biased toward either.
In addition, to commemorate the first anniversary of Roka’s opening, an online lottery sale will be held at the same time as the exhibition. Please do not miss this opportunity!
